In the video, LTU students and faculty describe the research they did in various courses in different majors and disciplines, from the “hard sciences” to the humanities. Students talk about their discoveries and CRE course experience. Faculty describe new CRE courses they develop.

Julie ZV (the first person in the video) is the co-chair of the Natural Sciences department, and has been very innovative in culturally-responsive research — allowing and encouraging her students to bring their culture to the classroom. Her new first-year level CRE course is an example of the integration of science, social issues, and culture, all in one CRE course designed mostly for non-science majors.
